The start of partnership of the sistercities Bad Oldesloe and Beer Yaacov was in 1982.
From June 29 to July 12 there have been 21 visitors from Beer Yaacov in Bad Oldesloe with Nahum Itzcowich as head of the israeli delegation (mostly adults).
In October 1982, 18 young people together with 10 adults from the sportsclub VfL Bad Oldesloe visited Israel (Head of delegation: Walter Busch).
