On 18th of October 2009 a delegation from Beer Yaacov joined the celebration of denomination of a street in the center of Bad Oldesloe as "Dereh Beer Yaacov" ( דרך באר יעקב)
Both mayors - from Beer Yaacov Nissim Gozlan (on the left) and from Bad Oldesloe Tassilo von Bary - pointed out the importance of the partnership between the two sistercities, especially the meetings of young people of both countries.
The music band "Stadtgarde" (City Guard) is playing the Hatikvah
